(1) The Four Basic Processes of Stamping Process
The stamping technology in automobile manufacturing needs to apply different manufacturing processes in order to meet the specifications, dimensions, and requirements of stamping parts, which can be roughly divided into the following categories:
1. Basic Process Skills in Stamping
The basic processes in the production process of stamping parts include four types: local forming, bending, punching, and stretching. The punching process in the stamping process can effectively separate the sheet metal; The process in which the sheet metal can form an angle through the stamping process is called bending; The process of processing the sheet metal into hollow parts based on the shape of the stamping die for further processing and manufacturing is called stretching; The process of local forming is the process of local plasticity through stamping.
2. Separation process and forming process
The process of separating and forming materials based on their characteristics. Separation process: The material undergoes stamping force, and the deformed part has reached a large size, resulting in material fracture and separation. The separation process can also be divided into shearing process, punching process, and blanking process, etc. Their purpose is to divide the stamping process as the sheet metal is realized during stamping. Forming process: refers to the material that undergoes deformation under the action of force when the blank material is subjected to punching pressure, undergoes a series of processes such as plasticity, and ultimately becomes a qualified part in the specification standards. The forming process in the stamping workshop includes necking process, flanging process, bending process, etc. Its purpose is to enable materials to undergo plasticity, deformation, transformation, and bending processes without being damaged, ultimately becoming stamping parts under required conditions.
(2) Control of Automotive Stamping Parts Process
The process of automotive stamping parts is a complex project that involves numerous links, which requires the control of the entire process to ensure the quality of stamping parts.
1. Accuracy control of publishing digital simulations and design drawings
For the automotive stamping process, there are three types of digital molds involved: one is the body digital mold, the second is the mold casting digital mold, and the third is the NC digital mold. The three types of mathematical models are important basis for the entire stamping process, and the accuracy of mathematical models is crucial. Therefore, there is a need to control the accuracy of the release of logarithmic models and design drawings. The logarithmic model structure needs to be repeatedly verified, and the collected data and the relationship between the data need to be checked for errors. If there are errors, strict debugging and careful calculation should be carried out to ensure that the mathematical model has a guiding effect on the entire process.
2. Quality control of design drawings
The design of stamping mold drawings directly determines the quality of mold manufacturing. If the mold quality is not qualified, it will lead to a large waste of human and material resources. In addition, mold drawing design may not bring a lot of difficulties to later modifications, so the review of mold design drawings is particularly important. During the verification process, 3D simulation technology can be used to demonstrate the effectiveness of the mold presented in the design drawings, judge the rationality and suitability of the mold structure and material selection, verify whether the mold performance can achieve the expected goals, and lay a solid foundation for future work by demonstrating the feasibility of the drawing design.
